Platter - plate

This piece is being sold as a second. Hand thrown plate. Thrown on a potters wheel. Red clay. Stoneware. Fired in an electric kiln. Glaze is stunning combinations of green, honey flux overlays, brown and winterwood with specks. There is a slight glaze mishap on the center edge of the plate as shown in picture. This is a raised area of glaze. Will not affect the integrity of the piece. Underside of plate is unglazed and remains natural, beautiful red clay. Made with love in my VA home studio.

Seconds piece means the piece has a minor flaw, but will not hurt or affect the piece being used.
